Life changing.
I don’t use those words lightly. I’ve had very few life changing experiences over the course of my life but taking the leap to invest in money coaching with Nicole…
Life changing
When I first started coaching with Nicole three years ago, money terrified me. I had grown up in a middle class family but the money trauma that my parents had carried and instilled into me had me jumping every time I checked my bank account. Money was always something I never had “enough” of and life was viewed in endless amounts of “costs” and never about benefits.
The very first thing Nicole helped me with was envisioning what kind of life I wanted for myself. Where I wanted to live. What I wanted to do. And who I wanted to be. Armed with this vision of a fulfilling life, she taught me how to use my money as a tool. Over the course of our time together, I learned how to buy the life I wanted and how to not let common money “shoulds” get in my way. She helped me face my money fears and turn them into endless possibilities.
Today, I regularly buy the life I want and make worth investments into the future I’m creating. I’ve started my own business, grown in my career, and now speak about money with a confidence and transparency that I’ve never had before. I am breaking generational cycles of money trauma in my family and with my friends and couldn’t be prouder. And Nicole’s coaching was life changing in getting me here.

Finding the courage.
I started working with Nicole at NSH Money Coaching shortly after becoming a single mom.
I'd never had a great relationship with money, and the financial stress of being on my own was overwhelming. I didn't know what to expect, but I knew something needed to change.
From our very first appointment, Nicole gave me small, actionable steps that were immediately effective. She helped me to recognize my own beliefs about money and to unpack the thoughts that were holding me back.
She asked the real questions, helped me to clarify my answers, and walked me through the process of funding the life that I want with a money system that practically runs itself.
Managing my finances went from a source of continual stress to something that I could be proud of!
When I started working with Nicole, I barely had the money to cover her fee. In the two years since then, I have purchased a home for my children and me, saved for emergencies and short-term goals, and am opening my very own speech-language pathology practice.
Finding the courage to take ownership of my money has changed everything for me! Working with Nicole is so, so worth it.

From 2.5 jobs to ONE
"You can create the life you want by what you put out into the world."
It’s Tuesday February 8th, 2022. One year ago, I was trucking along in (one) full-time job that I started with good intentions, but it was taking over my life. It gave me an opportunity to grow in my career skills and to help my fiancé and I save for a house.
But, I wouldn’t make it home for dinner at least 3 nights per week. I let the “house”, the “future thing”, dictate why I stayed. At the time, I also had a part-time job which didn’t require a ton of my time outside of work and helped that larger goal of HOUSE. You can tell I was a little set on this idea.
One year ago, I had my 4th weekly meeting with Nicole. She was really starting to make me see how silly it is to exchange all my time, attention, and energy for money (at the expense of everything else). I hadn’t finished a degree that I wanted and was so close to finishing for 2 years, I exercised less, I saw family less, I had less time, attention and energy for me, and for my fiancé. She was GOOD at getting to the point.
Since we discussed how I would leave that job one year ago, I FINISHED that degree, I exercised MORE, I saw family (and friends) MORE, we got MARRIED, we travelled MORE, and we spend LESS time, attention, and energy worried about money.
Part of that is because Nicole connected us to a wonderful financial advisor that I trust whole heartedly, but MORE is because of her. We are NOT in the house we saved for. More comically, we haven’t gone anywhere at all. But, in a way, that’s exactly what we needed. I needed a redirection, I needed someone to help me reframe, I needed a kick, I needed Nicole.
I worked part-time to maintain what I NEEDED without the incessant weight of trying to hoard money away for “things in the future.” Today, I am 5 weeks into a prep course to become the top certification in my field. Today, I put in a job application to do (part-time) exactly the type of project I told Nicole I would like to do "one day." The one I would aim for if I wasn’t in THAT job.
Now, those two things I just mentioned may overlap by a few weeks and may need some rearranging – but what doesn’t? It seems like a pretty good problem to have. If it doesn’t work out, there is always next year. But as for this year, it’s already been the best handful.
There was no reason for me to delay "life" for money. You can create the life you want by what you put out into the world. She’s right (and she would love for you to know what it could do for you).
